TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Fortress, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Cadmus Project Management LLC, a California limited liability company based in Rocklin, California. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Subscription Tiers

Fortress offers two access tiers:

• Free - Free. 500-comic vault, 500-item want list.
• All Access - $2.99/month. Unlimited vault, 5,000-item want list, appraisal access, and vault export.

3. Billing and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Cadmus Project Management LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

4. Refund Policy

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access to your paid tier until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time.

5. Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price increases will be communicated to affected subscribers at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use of a paid subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted.

7. Your Data

You own your data. The comic data, valuations, and notes you enter into your vault belong to you. We do not claim any ownership or license over the contents of your vault. You may request a full export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting garrett@cadmusprojects.com.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Fortress for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent vault limits or other access controls
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Fortress platform in bulk
• Resell or redistribute access to Fortress
• Use the service to infringe on any third-party intellectual property

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Service Availability

Fortress is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruption. Market pricing data (sourced from public market listings) is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a professional appraisal.

10. Publisher, Cover, and Source Attribution

The Fortress name, logo, and platform design are the property of Cadmus Project Management LLC. Comic publishers, creators, distributors, characters, series names, issue titles, logos, cover art, interior art, trade dress, and related marks remain the property of their respective rights holders, including Marvel, DC, Image, BOOM! Studios, IDW Publishing, Dark Horse, Dynamite, Valiant, Archie, AfterShock, Oni Press, Vault Comics, and other named publishers or licensors.

Fortress uses cover images, issue metadata, release metadata, and catalog references for identification, collection management, market-guide research, and editorial context. That data is sourced in part from the Grand Comics Database (CC BY 3.0), Metron, League of Comic Geeks, Marvel Database and DC Database on Fandom, publisher and distributor catalog listings, and other public comic reference sources. Fortress is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with those publishers, distributors, licensors, or data providers unless expressly stated.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadmus Project Management LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Fortress. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Placer County, California.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of Fortress after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
